He's a 19-year old photographer with undeniable sartorial wisdom attending The New School. He works and lives in Brooklyn, NY. Earlier last year he shot the entire lookbook for GANT Rugger's Holiday collection. Emrich told The Eye,
"GANT Rugger has been one of my favorite brands for the past few years, so I shot head designer Christopher Bastin an email asking to collaborate. The next morning I got a response that was something along the lines of, "Hell yeah". The format came from of a series of portraits I was doing of my friends with a similar layout. I think it gives the photos a sense of the subject's individual personality. That was a real focus for us, and why we didn't use models. It's all about how real people wear, and feel about the clothes."
