Between their glamorous summer holidays and front row seats at all the cruise, couture, and men's shows, the fashion set won't black out whole days in their diary for just anyone. But when mutual friend of just about everyone, Coco Brandolini d'Adda, calls you to her ancestral villa in Northern Italy for a little soiree, you answer.

Over the weekend, socialites, style stars, and supermodels landed in Venice to celebrate the birthday of the It Girl editor and fashion consultant. After some sightseeing along the Grand Canal, well-heeled guests including Lauren Santo Domingo, Derek Blasberg, Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert, Jessica Hart, and Tabitha Simmons headed to Coco's 500-acre family estate and vineyard for a fete full of dining, dancing, and, of course, a few lessons in dressing.

And despite the fabulous crowd and dreamy setting, the party's show-stealing pièce de résistance was most certainly the massive cake covered in strawberries, which served as dessert and doubled as everyone's favorite photo-op. When  it came time for the birthday girl to blow out her extra-tall candles, she was joined by her adorable daughters, bestie Margherita Missoni, and younger sister (and fellow style socialite) Bianca Brandolini d'Adda. La Dolce Vita indeed.
