Cassie Chadwick

Following quite a few cons (including one in which she pretended to be a psychic), this Canadian seductress hit New York City, claiming to be Andrew Carnegie's (you know, one of the richest men in the world?) illegitimate daughter. Throughout the early 1900s she used this fake identity to gain bank loans totaling between $10-$20 million, even putting some banks out of business. In 1905 a Cleveland court sentenced her to 14 years in prison - Andrew Carnegie and his millionaire friends attended the trial.
