Tao has become the landmark name for out of towners trying to act like Upper East Siders. This overpriced restaurant/club is usually packed on weekends but so dimly lit that no one will see you and your companion splurging. Don't forget to make him take a (solo) Insta in front of the lit up Buddha to show your followers how #cultured you are. No selfies.
