Just a nightmare. They have officially put out the deck furniture on the waterfront and soon the volleyball court will be back, so there is even more traffic on both sides of the open marina area. The go-to outside lunchtime place for business men who work downtown makes a mid-day stroll fun when there are cute guys in suits to look at, but with the added tourists aimlessly lingering in the area it is any New Yorker's nightmare. If you head south just a bit further on the walking path, the foot traffic lightens up (we mean, until Battery Park).
