Prior to The Dakota becoming famous for its role in Rosemary's Baby and being the site of John Lennon's death, workers and residents were fully aware of the building's supernatural tendencies. The ghost of a girl in 19th Century clothing was roaming the halls long before she was joined by Lennon.
