The New York Public Library

Although you may at first be dissuaded because it is a common tourist stop, The New York Public Library will transport you out of the wailing sirens and crowded sidewalks into a quiet, peaceful haven. If you are there to study, you may have a difficult time focusing because you will be captivated by the stunning and imposing architecture around you. To top off your visit, on your way out, you will often hear writers sharing their poetry outside.
