Staten Island Ferry
If you find yourself in need of a good bawl while in the Financial District, boogie over to South Ferry and hop on the next ferry to Staten Island. Push your way to the front, and be the tragic mermaid at the helm of the ship. Unwitting commuters will assume the wind is making your eyes water.. a lot. Plus, the return trip's a nice opportunity to catch your breath and clean up your mascara before stepping back onto Manhattan.
