An hour trip on the A train will transport you to an entirely different world to this small beach town. From houses with surfboards propped outside, to local taco stands and a long, wide beach front, Rockaway Beach is a sanctuary where you can experience a getaway right outside of Manhattan. We promise it's beautiful and not grungy! The water is clear and the sand is just as warm as Montauk.
