It's only fitting that I tackle the neighborhood that I currently call home: Chelsea, Manhattan. Rich in historic architecture and a bustling young crowd, the area roughly between the west side's 14th Street and 30th Street boasts countless spots for delicious food, excellent group fitness, and a perfectly pulled shot of espresso.

Chelsea provides the perfect balance between a livable neighborhood and a scene. Everyone seemingly owns a dog (myself included) and shops at Trader Joe's (I opt instead for Meal Pal, a service that grants you access to the city's best lunches at a fraction of the cost). Though bordered by touristy destinations like The High Line and Chelsea Market, I promise there are gems to be discovered in this neighborhood. Click through for a few of my insider highlights.
