Lib Goals

Part-museum, part-functioning library, part-workspace, the New York Public Library on 5th Avenue is far more than the library you grew up with. Browse the fascinating exhibits on everything literary. Head upstairs and check out the study spaces where you'll find artists armed with sketchbooks, writers glued to their laptops, and students cramming for exams. While the Rose Reading Room isn't set to reopen until 2017, more subdued study spaces are peppered throughout the building.
