Opened: 2002 Founder: Nick Denton, former Financial Times writer and founder of Moreover Technologies The office: Gawker's office straddles three neighborhoods, SoHo, NoLiTa, and the Bowery. It is complete with a swanky lounge, rooftop patio, office surfboard, and unexpected cheerleader art. The pièce de résistance is the media wall complete with screens of every site's homepage. Everything inside the office is strategically there to generate the Gawker-mind set.
