Ask bae to drive you to the airport for a long weekend work trip. It's innocuous enough but also gives them enough time to contemplate missing you for a while. When you get there tell them that you're actually moving to another country indefinitely to "find yourself." After they've left take a taxi back home and hope you never run into their friends.
