Shakespeare in the Park

Shakespeare in the ParkThe Delacorte Theatre is celebrating its 53rd anniversary of Shakespeare productions this summer in Central Park with The Tempest and Cymbeline. Founded on the idea of available theatre for all, Shakespeare in the Park is completely free. There are several ways to get tickets (2 tickets per person) to this special event - wait on line for distributed tickets at the theatre at noon every day, obtain a ticket voucher at a certain location in any of the five boroughs, enter a daily lottery online, or, if you are feeling generous, donate to the Public Theatre and receive reserved seating to any Shakespeare in the Park show.
