5. Cleaning supplies.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg visited the Occupy Wall Street park for the first time on Wednesday to announce that the encampment needs cleaning up.
In an effort to pre-empt the city's operation (which means being kicked out of the park in order for the city to properly clean it), a Facebook event titled Operation #wallstcleanup sprang up on Thursday. However, by Friday morning, the clean-up was postponed.
If the city or the owners of the park decide to clean it for real, you could be amongst those that bring the requested "brooms, mops, squeegees, dust pans, garbage bags, power washers and any other cleaning supplies"!
