Roaches in places they shouldn't be
NYC has a very specific breed of cockroach. Like most of the city's wildlife, these bad boys are abnormally audacious. You will find them in spots that no normal country roach dare venture to. So give your takeout a good stir before you start digging in, because, despite the added texture, a roach will not make a good garnish for your hot and sour soup.
