What do cronuts, Air Jordans, and Hamilton tickets have in common? There's a service that lets you hire people to wait in line for all three of these. Cue the collective eye-rolls and groans of "Only in New York." 

Who are these absurdly patient people willing to spend their days waiting for our luxury pastries and iPhones? What compels a New Yorker to do the one thing all New Yorkers despise - wait? We decided it was time to investigate the growing line-waiting business and uncover the secret lives of line sitters.
