9/11 Memorial

9/11Opened a decade after the deadly terrorist attacks, the 9/11 Memorial Museum is a tribute to those who died in 9/11 and the horrifying events that occurred on that day. Artifacts include objects from the site, personal items of the victims donated by their families, and vehicles from the NYC Fire Department. The Historical Exhibit includes a recount of the events of 9/11, an explanation of the events that led up to that day, and the aftermath. The Memorial Exhibit honors the lives of the victims and allows visitors to learn about those who perished in the attack. Other features of the museum include Foundation Hall, a piece of World Trade Center wall that survived the destruction, and photographs by Jonathan C. Hyman. The memorial is free, and General Admission for the museum is $24.
