Greenacre Park

Greenacre Park
Midtown may not come to mind as an ideal sunbathing spot, but this park is one of the city's best kept secrets. The park opened in 1971 with funds from the Greenacre Foundation and a goal to give New Yorkers "some serenity in this busy world." With the 25 foot waterfall and ample sun spots as well as shady areas, this quaint park certainly does just that for in-the-know New Yorkers who know where to find it.
