Hosted by the co-chairs and honorees of the museum, including president Laura Parsons, the event consisted of dinner and auctions, with all proceeds (including a $12,000 bid for a week in Tuscany) going toward education. Guests of the event included Uma Thurman's (ridiculously wealthy) fiancé, Arpad Busson, Gillian Miniter, and the museum's architects, Ms. Tsien and Todd Williams.
