The event hosted over 600 philanthropists (among them Joseph-Gordon Levitt, Caroline Kennedy, Jimmy Fallon, Alec Baldwin, and SNL cast members Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Seth Meyers, Jenny Slate, Kenan Thompson and Nasim Pedrad) for a seated dinner and a live performance by Dave Matthews. Tom Brokaw hosted the gala, which benefits the Museum's exhibitions and educational programs.
