Why we liked it: The opening night of TAO Downtown foreshadowed its place in NYC nightlife. The glitzy, celebrity filled event had Katie Holmes, Kid Cudi, Will.I.Am, and Alicia Keys partying in both of the massive rooms, something that seems almost tame compared to the high-profile events that have followed.
