Other details: On Tuesday the Tribeca Grand Hotel hosted the This Is New Year party, featuring their annual ball drop. The party took place in the main lounge, where a DJ booth was set up for Franco V, Prince Language, and a special set by Yeasayer band member Chris Keating. Guests including Mick Rock, Steven Rojas, and Christian Alexander all danced on the ground floor, but guests also filtered into the mezzanine levels to get a good view of the ball drop and confetti shower at midnight.
