Other details: The Soho Grand Hotel hosted their annual Black & White Masquerade Ball on New Year's Eve. The party had guests dressed to the nines in their finest black-tie outfits and masks as Harley Viera Newton, Mike Nouveau, Florencia Galarza, and more played music. At midnight, dozens of white balloons were supposed to drop on the revelers but as Nouveau humorously noted, failed to do so:
@mikenouveau: #NYE Massacre! The balloons never split apart and 9 people were crushed to death! Onwards to 2014!!
