Other details: Greg Chait & The Haas Brothers got together to celebrate The Elder Statesman’s Fall 2014 collection at Hotel Particulier. Chait’s designs were showcased on rotating ‘balloon mannequins’, sending Hanuk Hanuk into a photo snapping frenzy. Casa Dragones sipping tequila, which hits $275/bottle, was passed around, while a keg of beer kept the party going. Chait & the Haas brothers created a refreshing juxtaposition between bohemian luxury and downtown cool. Jesse Jo Stark & Kirk Hellie played an acoustic set on a makeshift stage in front of the installation, belting out Bonnie Raitt & John Prine’s “Angel From Montgomery”, shortly before the crowd joined in. Erin Wasson & Moko shared a moment and caught up on the sidelines before exchanging numbers. A black cashmere sweater with “BEER” emblazoned across the front was a stand out piece in Chait’s latest collection for The Elder Statesman.
