More than 30 artists from the Americas were honored at the event, sponsored by Dior. Tate Americas Foundation is an independent charity which raises support for Tate. The live auction on Thursday evening raised more than $500,000, and the overall event pulled in more than $2 million, which will be used to acquire art.
