Other details: Last night, Christian Siriano celebrated the launch of his signature fragrance, Silhouette, which exudes scents of cassis, wet greens, and purple berries, as well as jasmine, rose, and fressia for a feminine layer. The event took guests on a tour through the creation of the fragrance, starting with its inspiration, continuing through the composition of its scent, and ending with "Strangers in the Night," a short film. The venue was decorated with florals, playing off the fragrance, and included a Silhouette Selfie Portal and Tweet Bar. Guests enjoyed a Stoli Vodka Cocktail which also incorporated notes of the fragrance, as well as bite-sized eats. Christian told Guest of a Guest that the inspiration behind the fragrance's name is to admire beauty in women of all shapes and sizes. The smells woven into the fragrance are also inspired by women. In regards to this year's fashion week, Christian tells us that he doesn't set a curfew for his nights out, but he's definitely not one to pull an "all-nighter." And for all those new designers premiering at NYFW this year, Christian's advice was simple: He recommends finding your niche so that you can be really good at what you love most.
