Other details: Last night Veuve Clicquot celebrated the 2014 Olympic Games with a special edition of their annual Clicquot in the Snow party. The event took place at the Standard Hotel, where the ice rink was utilized for a variety of entertaining sporting competitions such as penguin relay, bandy, and ice dancing. Many of the guests participated, but others enjoyed watching the action from inside, where they had flutes of Veuve Cicquot Yellow Label and bites of fried mac & cheese, truffled grilled cheese, and waffles drizzled in chocolate. DJ Reach spun for a crowd which included TV personality Padma Lakshmi, "Girls" actress Zosia Mamet, designer Rebecca Minkoff, and CFDA president Steven Kolb.
