Other details: Yesterday, guests gathered at The Waldorf Astoria and posed for pictures on a pink carpet for the Symposium and Awards Luncheon honoring Barbara Walters with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Amy Robach, Good Morning America anchor, hosted the event. Walters received the Sandra Taub Humanitarian Award for her contributions for women's health. At the luncheon, the BCRF announced its dedication of $58.6 million to breast cancer research and the luncheon itself raised $2.2 million. The organization aims to end breast cancer and "fuel discoveries in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship, and metastasis." Follow
