The Young Ones, starring Elle Fanning and directed by Jake Paltrow, premiered at Sons of Essex. The movie takes place in a remote, dry part of the west where water never sees the light of day. Robots roam around acting as substitutes for livestock and crop tools. Breakout stars Nicholas Hoult and Kodi Smit-McPhee showed great resilience, seeing as the movie took place in a western desert under the hot sun. In his introduction before the film began, Jake Paltrow revealed that the entire crew said it was the most challenging project they had ever been a part of. The film intertwines a love story between Elle's character, Mary, and Hoult's, Flem. After the premiere, the crowd gathered headed to the after party.
