Other details: The Doe Fund hosted its second annual sweet: New York tasting event on Thursday at Classic Car Club in SoHo. The event celebrated the culinary industry’s role in providing opportunity for all New Yorkers. Students from The Doe Fund’s culinary training program worked alongside chefs from some of the city’s top restaurants to prepare light bites for attendees to sample. Participating restaurants included such New York mainstays as Tao, Lavo, BLT Prime, Magnolia Bakery, Smorgas, and Pescatore.
