Other details: Last night at Irving Plaza, guests lined up to get a glimpse of London's most popular game and party, Rebel Bingo. Originated as a London underground "mutant bingo," it soon became the most anticipated event all over Europe, and now NYC got a chance to see what it's all about. The venue was filled with a hip young crowd and at 9:30 pm, electronic music blasts sent the crowd frantically counting down to the release of the first bingo number. In between rounds, there were mini events to entertain the audience, including "Power of Hugs," where guests popped balloons between their chests and arms. Overall, Rebel Bingo can only be described as a wildly eccentric and charmingly addictive activity, perfect to share with friends. Rebel Bingo is hosting another event next weekend Irving Plaza.
