Other details: Last night, model Jacquelyn Jablonski teamed up with the charitable organization Autism Speaks and Milk Studios to host A Night For Autism. The event served to raise awareness as well as funds through a silent auction featuring photographs by notable photographers including Patrick Demarchelier. Guests entered the gallery where they enjoyed champagne, cocktails, and Peroni as DJ May Kwok played upbeat tunes. The crowd walked around bidding for the pieces and were happy to be a part of the charitable cause. Milk founder Mazdack Rassi was on hand to support the event and stayed as long as he could before leaving to see his wife who gave birth to twins earlier in the week. Fabrizio Moretti of The Strokes was gleefully chatting away with friends before hopping in a cab with a few models including Martha Hunt, in typical rock star fashion. Top models including Daria Strokous, Rianne Ten Haken, and Valentina Zelyaeva all mingled between bidding, with Strokous comically crossing out her phone number on the bidding sheet realizing it might be a little too public. Jacquelyn JablonskiJacquelyn Jablonski, Autism Speaks, And Milk present A Night For Autism [Jacquelyn Jablonski] Jacquelyn Jablonski took a moment to address the crowd with Autism Speak founders Alex Elbert and Jamitha Fields and implore the crowd to bid and support the cause. She shared her experience growing up with an autistic brother, who was at the party with the rest of her family, and the challenges it brought as well as the strength in character it yielded for her and her sisters. The crowd applauded her speech, and bidding immediately intensified as a result. After a night of posing, she finally had the chance to bid on a photo, as did Olivier Theyskens who arrived just in time to bid on multiple photos before the auction ended. Despite the 9:30 cutoff, an intense but friendly bidding war began between Constance Jablonski and fellow Victoria Secret model Joan Smalls, who both had their eyes set on a standout black and white piece by Patrick Demarchelier. One would place a higher bids instantaneously as the other wrote down a number, and this went on for over 15 minutes. In the end, Smalls won the photograph, which was the biggest seller of the night, bringing in just over $25k alone, but Constance and Imad Izemrane still generously bid on other items in keeping with the charitable spirit of the night.
