Other details: Last night, the Aperture Foundation hosted its 1/1 Benefit and Auction at the IAC headquarters. The event was held to raise money for the foundations education and visual-literacy programming, and featured a handful of selected works guests could bid on. Patrick McMullan, Tilda Swinton, Inez and Vinoodh, Mark Seliger, and many more contributed works for the show. There was also an Instagram silent auction curated by New York Times director of photography Kathy Ryan. The highlight of the night was a performance by The Strokes' guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., who played songs of his just-released EP AHJ. In addition to that, party-goers also enjoyed complimentary food and cocktails from Canard, Inc., Espolòn Tequila, Cakebread Cellars, and SingleCut Beersmiths.
