Susanne Bartsch and David Barton's 11th Annual Toy Drive

Where: Soho Grand Hotel Other details: Last night Susanne Bartsch, the host of some of New York's most extravagant events spanning decades, along with David Barton, founder of the eponymous gym chain threw their annual Toy Drive for children in hospitals and shelters. Admittance to the event required a new, unopened toy, which an eccentric group of guests were more than happy to provide. Actor Alan Cumming, Vogue's Hamish Bowles, and designers Calvin Klein and Donna Karen all showed up to support the cause, but in typical Bartsch fashion, most of the other guests arrived in vibrant costumes. The guests danced and sipped on cocktails in the popular Club Room, where Bartsch throws her weekly party, and soon trickled out into the adjacent lobby where the beautiful Christmas tree perfectly highlighted the season.
