[Photo: Chrissy Teigen via @guestofaguest] Other details: Last night, Chrissy Teigen and Stella Artois hosted a Belgian National Day celebration on Stone Street to launch the new series, "The Butcher, the Baker, and the Beer Maker" featuring culinary artisans Cara Nicoletti and Aliya Leekong. Part of Stone Street was closed to the public, so guests could mingle through the street at the reception and dinner. The reception featured various stations stocked with food and drink, including a cheese table, a butcher station, a Stella beer station, and an olive oil table. Appetizers included a selection of beers and ciders, cheeses and crackers, and meats. Guests could also shop each station, taking home their chose of cheeses, which were all made by women, including 10th and 11th generation mother and daughter cheese makers. Guests could also take a bottle of homemade olive oil home. At dinner, guests sat around one long wooden dining table, decorated with candles, red and white floral arrangements, hanging lights, and chandeliers made of Stella Artois glasses. We chatted up Rosario Dawson and Chrissy Teigen, as Stella served three delicious courses and drink pairings. The menu, engraved onto each guest's personal butcher block, became an extra souvenir for diners to take home. The second course included steak frites with dry aged ribeye and sautéed baby spinach. Finally, the dessert course, paired with a Stella cider, featured a Belgian apple pastry with Creme fraiche and caramel sauce. Guests enjoyed music from a live band throughout the evening, as well as lessons from Stella's Jeff Plassman on how to properly pour a Stella beer.
