Other details: Last night, guests gathered at The National Arts Club to join CNN Hero of the Year and celebrate her success this year in providing support, housing, education, and medical care to over 140 children. Hosted by Waiting for Mamu's Executive Producer Susan Sarandon, the night featured a cocktail reception, silent auction, and performance by acclaimed vocalist Sasha Lazard. Guests also had the chance to preview “Waiting for Mamu," a film currently in production on the life and mission of Pushpa Basnet.
