Other details: Since winning the Fusion fashion show over the weekend, FIT’s campus has been abuzz with excitement. Last night was no different, when fashion’s finest went back to school to celebrate FIT’s newest exhibit with Albright Fashion Library titled, Albright Goes To School. Presented by Mac Cosmetics, Albright invited 10 of the industry’s top stylists to create looks from their extensive archives. Mirroring FIT’s definitive stance in the New York fashion scene, the curated looks were posed across a makeshift fire escape. A graffiti tagged door framed Mary Alice Stephenson’s layered look while Lori Goldstein’s stood high and proud on the adjacent balcony. Wearing a full Prada look from the spring runway, June Ambrose caught the attention of nearby fashion students. The voices of “super stylists” echoed throughout the space as a short film commemorating the exhibition process premiered. The party continued at Omar's where MAC hosted a dinner for honored stylists and friends. Celebrating Albright’s 10th Anniversary, Kate Young, Patti Wilson, Tom Broecker, Paul Cavaco, Catherine George, Freddie Leiba and Kathryn Neale also curated looks for the show. The exhibition boasts pieces from Dries Van Noten, Lanvin & Altuzarra and is on display through the end of the month.
