Other details: Last night premium audio brand Master & Dynamic debuted their new sound tools at the Skylight Modern Studio. The event featured visual installations in addition to a curated soundscape to create a unique sensory experience for the VIP guests. Nate Lowman, Alexandra Richards, Carlos Quiarte, and more put on Master and Dynamic's MH40 headphones and interacted with 5 geo-metal sound sculptures which reacted to each person differently. To celebrate the premium audio offerings, Master and Dynamic also enlisted of-the-moment electronic acts Majical Cloudz, Fatima Al Qadiri, and Hot Sugar to perform live sets. Another highlight of the night was the auction for Nate Lowman's new piece "Orders from Corporate, (Randall's Island)," which brought in $105,000 to benefit arts education at charter school district Harlem Village Academies.
