Lane Hagood "Black Snake Moan" Reception

Other details: Peter Makebish hosted a private reception for special guests to be the first to view Lane Hagood's Black Snake Moan series at his gallery in Manhattan's West Village. The space put the exhibit, which was released in 2010, on display all over bare, white walls, adding contrast to the black and dark green hypnotic snake spirals. Hagood was influenced by other artists, street art, and fossils, and wanted this series to be "weird and psychotic."
