Where: Bryant Park Other details: Last night, T-Mobile announced a new, muli-year partnership with Shakira with a special event and performance by the global superstar. A crowd of approximately 7,500 showed up to Midtown's Bryant Park, where Swizz Beatz kicked things off with a DJ set before the singer performed a handful of songs, including "Whenever, Wherever" and "Hips Don't Lie." About the partnership, she said "Today is all about bringing the world closer together. I'm excited to partner with T-Mobile and look forward to being able to share my music in new and innovative ways." In addition to using the platform to potentially release and share music, Shakira will also collaborate with the brand to raise awareness for her main charity, The Barefoot Foundation.
