Other details: Last night, the premiere of the documentary Burt’s Buzz took place in the basement of the Crosby Street Hotel. Burt’s Buzz is a riveting and humorous portrait of the dichotomous life of Burt Shavitz— an allusive beekeeper who reluctantly became one of the world’s most recognizable brand identities. Burt Shavitz, director Jody Shapiro and executive producer Isabella Rossellini surprisingly arrived first, a few minutes before 7 pm. Shavitz joked around a bit while photographers shot him with Shapiro, Rossellini, and actress Elettra Wiedemann. Around 7:45 pm, the majority of the crowd took their seats in the screening room and enjoyed the show.
