The space, located on 16th Street and 11th Avenue, is situated at the other end of Toro, and shares owners of the hotspot restaurant. It was conceptualized by nightlife veterans Doug Jacob, Will Malnati, and Zac Nichols, so naturally there was a bevy of industry insiders for the private opening. [Daria Strokous] Designers Chris Benz and Maxwell Osborne, Details editor Eugene Tong, fashion blogger Bryanboy, and actress Michelle Trachtenberg were all on hand to celebrate the beautiful and intimate space, while Holy Ghost! band member Erik Tonnesen played music. While a few guests sat near the large, illuminating tree at the end of the room, top model Daria Strokous and club owner Hernando Courtright danced away to the classic rock and pop anthems by the bar. At the other end of the bar, A Hotel Life's Ben Pundole, Interview Magazine's Guyton Porter, and model RJ King all enjoyed cocktails from the open bar with their friends, and a few even snuck off into Toro for a late-night snack.
