Where: Monkey Room; MoMA Other details: Last night at the "Saving Mr. Banks" NYC screening, the night started at Monkey Bar. Emma Thompson mingled alongside her co-stars near the crowded bar area, tasting appetizers and ordering drinks before the premiere. The director John Lee Hancock and writers Kelly Marcel and Sue Smith were discussing the direction of the film, and how long it took to get it exactly how they wanted. After the cocktail hour, the crowd walked over to the MoMA to watch the film. The audience agreed that it was a feel good movie that could make you both laugh and cry, perfect for fans of Disney and Mary Poppins.
