The night began with two songs by Rufus Wainwright and then Yoko took the stage. When asked about the collaboration she recalled,
“I immediately said ‘Yes’ when ABC asked me to take over their window displays to help spread the message to stop fracking our beautiful state, I was surprised by the courage of ABC to use all of their windows to express a message so important for people’s health. We need more brave people to speak up and join in the fight to save our land and water.”

Then, Amy Ray took to the stage to play four songs followed by Sarah Bareilles who closed out the musical portion of the presentation, even getting the entire room to whistle along to one of her tunes. The night ended with a Q&A session with Deepak Chopra and Josh Fox the creators of the anti-fracking film "Gasland."
