Other details: On Saturday afternoon, April 12, Safe Kids Worldwide held its second annual Safe Kids Day at The Highline Stages in NYC to help raise funds and awareness about preventable injuries, the number one killer of children in the United States. Guests were treated to a “carnival” themed event featuring booths with classic games and experiences that helped promote child safety. The festive atmosphere invited families to participate in different activities including a Fun House with an oversized “in the eyes of a child” kitchen, an Imagination Playground, face painting, balloon making, and more. “Click” the Talking Carseat Fortune Teller was a big hit with kids of all ages, utilizing his comedic wit to teach children about the importance of wearing a seatbelt; and there was a cool, virtual-reality car game to help teach kids about road safety.
