Other details: Last night, Christie's hosted a Swarovski-studded preview of the "A Queen Within: Adorned Archetypes, Fashion & Chess," which is set to debut this October at the World Chess Hall of Fame in St. Louis. The exhibition, filled with experimental designs fit for every fashion queen, features pieces by Gucci, Viktor & Rofl, and of course the late McQueen. Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein provided a pop-y soundtrack to the exclusive event, where guests admired the rare and daring pieces while sipping white wine and Instagramming between bites of canapés.
