Where: The Creative Edge Dining Room Other details: Last night, Creative Edge Parties hosted 15-year-old chef Flynn McGarry's "Eureka" 8-course tasting in its West Village dining room. Guests were treated to an amazing night of sensational and innovative dishes, from amazing seafood to perfectly cooked duck, with the chef himself coming out to serve some of the courses. The food, which is described as "progressive American cuisine," was accompanied by a full night of wine pairings as well. The Culinary Council, Creative Edge’s global exchange program that brings guest chefs to cook in New York, was the first to host McGarry in the city, as his "Eureka" dinners usually take place at top Los Angeles restaurants. If last night's tasting was any indication, the young chef has a bright and successful future ahead of him.
