Other details: Last night's Manhattan Mag September Issue party atop the Standard East Village was an event to remember. Guests were greeted at the PH Suite, encased in glass with 360 degree views of New York City. A crowd quickly formed on the observation deck to get a glimpse inside a stationary telescope of the intricacies of the Empire State building, Park Avenue and CitiField. Guests of honor Hilaria Baldwin, in a classic black Prada mini dress, and husband actor Alec Baldwin chatted with friends on the balcony before posing for a photo-op, framed by an enlarged cutout of Manhattan Mag's September issue with cover star Jennifer Hudson. Jewelry designer Heidi Gardner, adorned in her own pieces, was joined by guests Sam O'Neal and Chester Algernal, who was draped in stunning, white, floor-length numbers by Stolen. A few enclaves gave guests the chance to mingle and wander about, along with access to private spaces within the Penthouse Suite to socialize. Purity Vodka's signature cocktail kept the chatter afloat as the night wound down.
