Other details: Creative Director Bruno Frisoni gave Roger Vivier’s iconic comma-shaped heel, Virgule, a modern twist. Frisoni tapped 19-year old photographer, Olivia Bee to photograph model Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor for the re-launch campaign. Frisoni explained how he reinterpreted the iconic Virgule heel: “We played with colors, cuts and when it’s a good piece, you don’t need to do too much. Changing something, maybe the material of the heel to a flashy, metallic color – just give it a cool [spin]!” [Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor, Bruno Frisoni, Olivia Bee] To celebrate the heel’s makeover, Frisoni celebrated with de Cadenet Taylor and Bee at Paul Sevigny’s much-anticipated Paul’s Baby Grand. Waiters, outfitted in uniforms designed by Chloe Sevigny, served pink cocktails garnished with edible flowers. “This is a great place to party!” exclaimed Vogue’s Lynn Yaegar on Sevigny’s latest outpost. Backstage footage from the ad campaign was projected onto the floral wallpaper, serving as the perfect backdrop for Bee’s campaign, which was photographed on the streets of Paris. [We wanted to project] rock and roll attitude but in a very playful way, nothing very serious, nothing very deep, nothing very dark”, explained Frisoni on Roger Vivier’s collaboration with Olivia Bee and Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor. Nicky Hilton mirrored Roger Vivier’s colorful spirit in a cobalt blue Valentino frock. Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor later took over the DJ booth, sending Frisoni dancing across the black and white tiled floor. Guests continued to dance throughout Sevigny’s TriBeCa hotspot, where time nearly stood still. Upon glancing at her iPhone, Laura de Gunzburg, exclaimed, “It’s 10 o’clock already?!” Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor [Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor]
